Read below the interview of a famous music artist Priyanka Ahuja about how she started her journey and become an music artist
Hi, I am Priyanka Ahuja, born on 17th May 1987 in Kanpur. I am a self-made actor, model & singer and I am very passionate about my work.
I started my journey for singing when I was 6 years old. My father was my first inspiration. I have grown to watch my father practicing music. When I started my journey in singing it was moreover a hobby for me but slowly it became my passion. From developing a habit of daily rehearsals to practicing yoga and pranayama, I have always put my hundred percent into things that improve my singing and take it to a higher level.
I have done a bunch of stage shows and also appeared in the auditions of Indian Idol and Voice of India but Sanjeeba sir was the first person to recognize my talent and gave me my first break in the year 2014. He saw my hard work and passion for my singing and decided to work with me. I will always be grateful to him for recognizing my talent and providing me with an opportunity to showcase my talent.
What singing has given me as Priyanka Ahuja, wouldn’t have been possible if the people didn’t show their love towards me. I always believed in giving back. I love visiting orphanages and spending time with these kids. I do whatever I can for them. It gives me inner satisfaction and happiness to be able to help those who need it the most.
Also, I love to cook and read. People might not know this side of Priyanka Ahuja. Everybody has hobbies and mine is cooking and reading. I love to experiment in the kitchen. Be it Indian, Chinese, Italian, or my favorite, fusion. Cooking has helped me not only in discovering a hidden gem inside me but has also kept me together in tough times. Reading on the other hand is a hobby that I developed quite later in my life. It has helped broaden the overall perspective of my life.
Again, singing stands very important to me but Priyanka Ahuja would have never been what she is if not supported by my father. If not been for him it wasn’t possible for me to pursue singing as a passion. His constant support and inspiration helped me achieve this feat. They ask me what are my dreams and I always say that my dream is to fulfill my father’s.
